History

Dick Shedden became an auctioneer in 1960. He has had estate, household, and farm auctions at many locations for, many people. In 1985 Shedden’s Auction Gallery was built this is where most of Dick’s auctions are held. It is fully equipped with a restaurant and seats 500 people.

In 1968 Shedden’s antiques opened, where Dick and his wife Joan sold antiques, used furniture and household items.

In the late 70’s and early 80’s it was changed over to all new merchandise, which became Shedden’s Wholesale, a retail and wholesale store.

Dick and his son Jeff are also livestock dealers and own Shedden’s farm.

Sheddens's has gone thru many changes to become the versatile business that it is today.
